I came across this article in the San Francisco Chronicle about cats in bookstores. They profiled six local bookstores that have cats in residence.I have mixed feelings about cats in bookstores. On one hand, I love cats. On the other hand, I love cats and a cat in a bookstore would distract me from my finding a book.
Recently, a cat at a local bookstore took early retirement. They will be hiring a replacement soon.
